Kris Hess-Tevis has worked in the mental health field since 1999 in both hospital and outpatient settings. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Master of Science degree in Community Counseling and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a PhD and Master of Arts degrees in Social Psychology with additional coursework in Developmental Psychology, Program Evaluation, Law, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She has participated in several research initiatives associated with clinical feedback and Evidence Based Practice (EBP) implementation. With a strong background in applied science, her current research focus includes program design and evaluation, the influence of organizational culture on work-related decisions, challenges associated with direct staff caring for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, employment discrimination among individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, work analysis in behavioral health fields, and the economic impact of risk and social indicators for individuals with comorbid and chronic conditions.
Kris has worked with OMNI Behavioral Health since 2002 in various capacities. Kris has developed and maintained several programs within OMNI in addition to leading agency-wide initiatives such as complex integration of electronic records system and Evidence Based Practices across various settings and geographic locations. Kris is currently responsible for assisting Omni with quality assurance/improvement activities and maintaining compliance with Medicaid regulations, State licensing requirements, and Joint Commission accreditation.
Kris is very active in public policy initiatives and community mental health advocacy, holding numerous offices in professional organizations, organizing statewide conferences advocating mental health training for service providers, and speaking to community members regarding various mental health issues. Kris is a member of the American Counseling Association, American Psychological Association, Society for Personality and Social Psychology, American Evaluation Association, American Psychology & Law Association, American Public Health Association, and Global Alliance for Behavioral Health & Social Justice. She maintains LIMHP, LMHP, and LPC licenses in Nebraska, and is a Nationally Certified Counselor with the National Board of Professional Counselors.
Director of Nutrition, Exercise, and Health Promotion
Crystal graduated from the University of Nebraska with dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Dietetics and Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition & Exercise. Crystal completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Nebraska, where her thesis research involved the development, piloting, evaluation and implementation of an eating disorder risk assessment instrument for the athletic department. She has presented her research at the national level for the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and recently had an article published in the Journal of Renal Nutrition focused on emerging eating disorder trends. Crystal is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and substance abuse in athletes. Crystal is the Sports Dietitian for the Nebraska Coaches Association and is endorsed by the National Organization of Coaches Association Directors as a Beyond the Game professional speaker. Locally, Crystal has served five years as a member of the Council on Practice for the Omaha Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and is currently serving as the Chair of the Nebraska Board of Medical Nutrition Therapy. Nationally, Crystal serves as a member of the Sports Dietetics Examination Committee, the Sports Dietetics Practice Analysis Workgroup, and the Commission on Dietetic Registration Specialty Certification Panel. Crystal recently joined the Gatorade Sports Science Institute, where she will serve as a Sports Nutrition Consultant for professional sports.
Within Omni Inventive Care, Crystal worked exclusively with the Eating Disorder Program for nearly a decade, ultimately serving as the program director for more than five years. Crystal moved into a global director position in 2016, now serving as the Director of Nutrition, Exercise and Health Promotion. In this role, she guides the development and implementation of nutrition, exercise and wellness efforts for both staff and clients. Client populations of focus include eating disorders, foster care, home-based therapy, intensive family preservation, extended family homes, developmental disabilities, and family support. Crystal represents Omni Inventive Care on the Health Advisory Committee for Special Olympics Nebraska and recently established our first-ever Special Olympics Team, the Omni Olympians. Her experience also includes providing contracted nutrition therapy services for several substance abuse treatment programs for a decade.
Dietitian
Leigh Healey is a Registered Dietitian and Wellness expert with a passion for helping people choose the right foods in grocery aisles and teaching them how to prepare healthy meals in the kitchen. She has a wide range of experience including caring for people with eating disorders, diabetes, weight management, heart disease and kidney disease.
Leigh obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Nebraska Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics on the state and district level.
Leigh believes leading a healthy lifestyle is the key to leading a happy and fulfilling life. Her hobbies include spending time with her friends and family, working out, being outdoors, and experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen.

I have worked with children and young adults experiencing a variety of mental health issues and trauma. Our office specializes in care for individuals with eating disorders; however, we offer outpatient counseling for a variety of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADD management, trauma-focused therapy, etc. I completed my internship of over 1000 hours in a medical rehabilitation hospital, so I am well versed in caring for people recovering from medical trauma as well as helping clients find a new normal after a life-altering event.
My primary goal is to provide you or your child with a safe space to process, heal, and problem solve. My approach to each client's unique needs are different, but in my practice, I mainly utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), creative therapies, and solution-focused therapy.

Bri graduated from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2017. She went on to study clinical mental health counseling at Capella University and graduated with a master’s degree in 2021. Upon her graduation, Bri accepted an outpatient therapist role at Omni Inventive Care. She completed her provisional licensure requirements and became a fully licensed clinician in September 2024.
Throughout her time with Omni, Bri has gained valuable experience working with various age groups and presenting concerns. Bri is a compassionate therapist dedicated to a holistic approach and believes that embracing the mind-body connection facilitates lasting change. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts and sporting events, and spending time with loved ones.

Davis is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner in Nebraska and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Addictions Counselor in Colorado. She has been in the mental health field since 2008, gaining experience in community mental health, residential treatment, and crisis services.
In addition to leading groups at Omni, Ashleigh runs a private practice in Golden, Colorado - where she works with adults and couples. Her primary focus is on helping clients overcome addiction, manage anxiety, reduce depression, navigate life transitions, and enhance their relationships. Ashleigh specializes in using Behavioral Activation (BA) techniques to treat mood disorders like depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. By helping clients identify and break negative patterns of behavior, BA encourages individuals to engage in more rewarding activities, disrupt cycles of avoidance, and create positive routines that enhance mood and well-being.

Andrea Palladino is a 500-hour RYT yoga instructor, mindfulness guide, and licensed massage therapist with more than 15 years of experience. She studied at Maharishi University of Management, where she was immersed in meditation, yoga, and Ayurveda, and earned a degree in Sustainable Living and Soil Science. Andrea has studied a wide range of meditation techniques and lineages, grounding her work in both ancient wisdom and modern application.
Her teaching emphasizes somatic practices, the importance of breath, and nervous system regulation, giving students tools to manage stress, build resilience, and reconnect with their bodies. She teaches across many styles—including vinyasa, sculpt, yin, restorative, and meditation—and is recognized for her intelligent alignment and ability to translate modern biomechanics into safe, effective, and empowering practices.
As manager and lead teacher at Melt Yoga Studio, Andrea leads dynamic vinyasa classes, trains the next generation of yoga teachers, and continues her studies in advanced biomechanics and somatic methods. Alongside her studio role, she has experience teaching in corporate workplaces and developing wellness programs tailored to professional environments. Her work weaves yoga, mindfulness, and bodywork into a holistic approach, supporting both physical wellbeing and mental clarity in personal and professional settings.

Alexandria Ruehter is the Office Manager at the Omni Nutrition and Wellness Center. Alex was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She came to Omni after working at an OBGYN clinic since 2018. Alex also has a background in business and culinary. She’s a dog lover and has two Siberian Huskies, loves baking and cooking in her free time, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. Alex says this about her job at Omni; “Thus far, being at OMNI has been amazing, my coworkers and the clients are both incredibly amazing, I truly enjoy my job and what I do”. Alex is a go-getter and incredibly dedicated to working with insurance and ensuring our clients obtain the services they need.

Jacqueline is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician with over two decades of experience in holistic health, integrative wellness, and clinical mental health care. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Doane College (2001), following a dual Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and an associate’s degree in physiotherapy from Nebraska Wesleyan College.
From the beginning of her career, Jacqueline has blended traditional clinical practices with holistic, mind-body approaches. Her clinical training included a practicum, internship, and part of her residency at First Step Wellness and Recovery in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she led a women’s dual-diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). She also worked with Cedar’s Youth Services, traveling to rural communities to support children and families in need.
In 2005, Jacqueline launched her private practice in both Lincoln and Omaha, while also joining Bouda Health Concierge and L.E.A.P. executive coaching—collaborating with interdisciplinary professionals focused on comprehensive wellness. From 2004 to 2009, she was CEO and co-owner of AnyLabTestNow in Lincoln and Omaha and spent 10 years as adjunct faculty at Southeast Community College and Metropolitan Community College, teaching courses in mental health and wellness.
Jacqueline lived in California from 2012 to 2016, where she deepened her focus on integrative and synergistic healing. Upon returning to Omaha, she resumed her work with Bouda Health Concierge until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
She is now proud to be part of the dedicated team at Omni Wellness and Nutrition, where she continues to offer compassionate, holistic care.
Jacqueline is an Internationally Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Registered Yoga Therapist, and an Integrative Health Specialist. Her areas of expertise include addiction counseling, trauma recovery, child and family therapy, major depressive disorders, ADHD, and neurodiversity.
Outside of her professional life, Jacqueline finds joy in art, music, gardening, yoga, paddleboarding, and spending time with her beloved dogs.
