This virtual postpartum group therapy program provides a safe, supportive space for mothers in the first year after giving birth. The group focuses on connection, coping, and emotional wellness in the postpartum period—because every mother deserves to feel seen, supported, and understood.

Who Is Virtual Postpartum Group Therapy For?

Women who are pregnant or up to 12 months postpartum and looking for guidance, connection, and community as they navigate the emotional transitions of motherhood.

When & Where

  • Day/Time: Thursdays from 12:00–1:00 PM CST
  • Location: Virtual sessions via Zoom—accessible from anywhere in Nebraska
  • Format: Small, supportive group setting with structured weekly topics

Our team is a committed group of women and mothers passionate about helping others navigate the challenges of pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and motherhood.

Meet the Facilitators

Margaret R. Emerson

DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Emerson is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who is passionate about helping mothers feel seen, supported, and understood. She creates a warm, welcoming space where women can share their experiences, learn practical tools for emotional wellness, and reconnect with their sense of self during the postpartum journey.

Brianna Sullivan

LIMHP, NCC

Bri Sullivan is a licensed therapist who has taken an interest in helping individuals navigate identity shifts, postpartum changes, and the pressures of parenting. Bri is passionate about helping women find balance, confidence, and connection as they move through each stage of motherhood.

Jessica Compton

MS, PLMHP

Jessica is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) and a mom of three who is deeply passionate about supporting mothers through the emotional and physical transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. Drawing from both her professional training and personal experience, she helps women navigate mood changes, strengthen the parent–child bond, and rediscover their sense of self. Jessica provides a warm, compassionate space where mothers feel understood, supported, and empowered to find balance and confidence in their daily lives.

Leigh Healey

LMNT

Registered dietitian and wellness expert Leigh Healey has a passion for helping people choose the right foods in the grocery aisles, as well as working with them in the kitchen, teaching them how to prepare healthy meals and providing guidance to ensure a healthy lifestyle. As a mom of 2 herself (about to be 3!) she understands the importance of balanced family meals and having snacks on hand that are quick and easy for all ages.
